About

I started where infrastructure is least forgiving: keeping national telecom platforms running at Sprint, across more than 1,200 production and development servers with on-call through the night.

At Fidelity Investments I supported business-critical applications on 300+ servers, delivered a critical CRM upgrade on time and on budget, and helped run the change management process that kept production changes controlled and auditable.

Five years at Cisco put me in front of customers. As a senior technical consulting engineer I led escalations for global enterprises on Cisco UCS, VMware and Linux, and learned to explain a hard technical problem to people who mostly need to know what it means for their business.

Since 2022 I've led infrastructure engineering at Martin Marietta, with a team of 10 engineers across the US and India. The work I'm proudest of there is less about technology than about the decision: building the cost-benefit case that moved 500+ workloads to AWS and avoided a $1.5M hardware refresh, and redesigning disaster recovery to cost 40% less.

Where I'm going

That pattern — engineering judgment in service of a business decision — is what I want to do full time. I'm completing an MBA at Boston University Questrom (expected spring 2027) and moving toward technology strategy: platform and cloud strategy, IT cost and operating models, and the technology side of mergers and acquisitions.
